I’m Graeme Thomas, a UK-based freelance graphic designer with more than 20 years’ experience creating marketing design for agencies, in-house teams, SMEs and global organisations.
I provide flexible freelance graphic design support across digital marketing, advertising campaigns, social media, display advertising, brochures, presentations and other branded marketing collateral.
From individual campaign assets to ongoing design support, I work with marketing teams and agencies to create visually strong, commercially effective design that can be adapted consistently across multiple channels and formats.
For larger projects or periods of increased demand, I can also draw on two experienced senior graphic designers, a web developer and a trusted network of freelance specialists, giving clients additional capacity without the overhead of a larger agency.
Based in the UK, I work with clients across the UK and internationally, including businesses in North America, Europe and Asia, and can adapt my working hours where required to support different time zones.

Argos | Digital Marketing & Campaign Design
I supported the Argos digital design team as a freelance graphic designer, producing a high volume of digital marketing assets across multiple product categories each week.
The work included static graphics, animated GIFs and HTML5 advertising, as well as website navigation banners, category banners, promotional graphics and paid client advertising. I also designed homepage content including promotional, inspirational, client and hero sections.
Alongside onsite creative, I produced assets for Google Display Network advertising and paid social media campaigns, adapting creative across different formats and placements while maintaining the Argos brand.
Eurostar | Advertising Campaign & Marketing Design
Working with OLIVER Marketing, I joined one of its in-house teams as a freelance graphic designer supporting international rail brand Eurostar.
One of the major projects I worked on was Eurostar’s Travel State of Mind advertising campaign, producing creative for a wide range of print and digital formats.
Deliverables included magazine and newspaper advertising, London Underground carriage adverts, platform 12-sheet advertising and Google Display Network creative, alongside additional campaign collateral.
I also worked on the campaign’s brand guidelines, helping compile the complete guideline pack to ensure the campaign could be implemented consistently across channels.
Create Health | Healthcare Marketing Graphic Design
I provided ongoing freelance graphic design support to Create Health, a specialist healthcare marketing and medical communications agency, helping the team with both additional capacity and holiday cover.
Projects have included PowerPoint presentation design and animation, interactive and digital PDFs created in Adobe InDesign, and custom icon and vector artwork created in Adobe Illustrator.
Working across different project types allows me to provide flexible design support while maintaining established client and agency brand guidelines.
Mediahawk | Brochure, Infographic & Digital Advertising Design
I have worked with Mediahawk, a specialist call analytics software company, on a number of marketing design projects across both content and digital advertising.
Projects have included digital brochure design in Adobe InDesign, infographic design in Adobe Illustrator and animated HTML5 display advertising created in Adobe Animate.
The work demonstrates the flexibility of my freelance marketing design service, supporting a single client across longer-form marketing collateral, information design and digital campaign assets.
Animated HTML5 Banner & Social Media Advertising Design
I design and build animated digital advertising for paid social media, organic social campaigns, third-party websites and Google Display Network advertising.
