I’m Graeme Thomas, a UK-based freelance graphic designer with 20+ years’ design experience.
I am a freelance marketing graphic designer providing marketing design services for agencies, SMEs and larger organisations.
I design high-quality digital and campaign assets that support marketing activity across websites, paid media, social media and digital advertising channels.
As a freelance marketing designer, I work closely with marketing teams and agencies to create design that is visually strong, commercially effective and adaptable across multiple platforms and formats.
I offer a fully flexible service and have grown my business to include two fantastic senior graphic designers, a web developer and a strong network of freelance talent, helping with capacity on larger projects or those with a tight deadline.
Based in the UK, I work with businesses all over the world including North America, Europe and Asia, and often shift my working hours to accommodate time zone differences and invoice in local currencies.

Marketing design examples
Argos
I supported the digital design department at Argos as a freelance graphic designer by producing multiple assets across multiple categories each week in static, animated GIF and HTML5 formats.
Assets for the website included internal navigational banners, category banners and paid client banners, and I designed the homepage which included promotional, client, inspirational and hero sections.
I also produced digital assets for GDN and paid social, and whilst working with the team I streamlined some of their processes with custom solutions which you can read more about in my UX/UI case study.
Eurostar
I worked for agency Oliver Marketing as a freelance graphic designer on a short-term contract at one of their in-house teams for international high-speed rail service, Eurostar.
I worked on numerous print and digital campaigns during my time here, one major project being the Travel State Of Mind campaign. This included magazine and newspaper print adverts, London Underground tube carriage adverts, London Underground platform 12-sheets, Google Display Network adverts, as well as various other pieces of collateral.
I also worked on the brand guidelines for the same campaign and put the entire pack together.
Create Health
Create Health is a specialist healthcare marketing agency, medical communications agency and B2B healthcare advertising company. I assist Create Health on an ad hoc basis with holiday cover and capacity cover on a variety of tasks and programs. Support given includes PowerPoint presentations with custom animations, digital PDFs created in Adobe InDesign, and icon work which is completed using Adobe Illustrator.
Mediahawk
Mediahawk specialises in call analytics software which gathers insight based on the content of phone call conversations.
I have worked with Mediahawk a number of times as a freelance graphic designer and projects have included digital brochures which I designed using InDesign, infographics designed using Illustrator, and animated HTML5 banner ads created in Adobe Animate.

I have designed many animated promotional banners and calls-to-action to be used for organic and paid social media campaigns, as well as third party website advertising and Google Display Network (GDN).
